In the latest procurement plan, the Sichuan Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau clarified the scope of implementation of volume procurement in the future, procurement varieties, price requirements, delivery services, and hospital refunds

In accordance with the requirements of the document, the plan will be implemented 30 days after the date of publication, with a validity period of 2 years

The Sichuan Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau stated that it is necessary to adhere to the leading direction of centralized procurement at the provincial level, implement classified procurement management of medical consumables, and reduce falsely high prices of medical consumables through platform management and comprehensive monitoring

In terms of the scope of implementation, the province's public medical institutions (including military medical and health institutions participating in centralized procurement within the province), medical insurance designated social medical institutions, and medical institutions are required to be fully integrated into centralized management

The medical consumables covered by the procurement plan include high-value medical consumables, low-value medical consumables and in vitro diagnostic reagents
