On June 4, 2015, at the 2015 Sichuan New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Key Work Promotion Conference, it was revealed that Sichuan will soon introduce policies to fully support the development of the new energy vehicle industry, and pure electric new energy vehicle users are expected to be exempt from tail number restrictions
.
It is understood that Sichuan new energy truck users are also expected to enjoy the convenience
of free issuance of city entry permits.
In addition, Sichuan is also expected to introduce policies
such as the maximum price of charging and replacing electricity, the maximum price of service fees, and the minimum proportion of new energy vehicles in municipal (prefecture) governments and public renewal vehicles.
At the meeting, it was proposed that this year, Sichuan will strive to form a production capacity of 50,000 new energy vehicles and produce and sell 15,000 units
.
To this end, Sichuan has put forward 13 promotion priorities
in three major areas: technology research and development, major industrialization projects, and charging and swapping infrastructure construction.
Among them, the Mianyang Base of the New Energy Vehicle Joint Research Center of Sichuan Automobile and Tsinghua University is expected to be officially opened at the end of June, and the Sichuan New Energy Vehicle Engineering Application and Innovation Research Center led by Southwest Jiaotong University and the Nanchong Commercial Vehicle Research Institute of Geely Group will step up construction
.
In addition, the construction of Geely Nanchong's R&D and production base, the mass production of Chengdu Volvo S60L extended-range hybrid sedan, and the mass production of Sichuan Automobile T70 new energy vehicle will provide strong development impetus
for Sichuan's new energy vehicle industry.
