To strengthen its position in Brazil, Siemens Gamesa announced the signing of the largest contract
ever in the market.
The company will supply a total of 471 MW of electricity
to Iberdrola's Brazilian subsidiary, Neoenergia.
The agreement includes the commissioning of the company's 3.
4-132 turbines, including 15 wind farms
, at the Santa Luzia complex in the northeastern Brazilian state of Paraíba.

to various customers under O&M agreements.
With 13GW of installed capacity and another 5GW of installed capacity, Brazil has leapfrogged to become one of
the world's leading wind power markets.
In addition, the Brazilian government is committed to becoming a wind power base
