After more than a year of upgrading and rectification, the wire and cable industry in Simen Town, the "hometown of China's wire and cable", has undergone tremendous changes, allowing enterprises to obtain a new development platform and space and embark on a new path
of green industry.

According to reports, the wire and cable industry in Simen Town originated in 1985, at present, the town is registered, the business scope of wire, cable, plug production, processing of a total of 651 enterprises, including 51 enterprises with annual sales of more than 20 million yuan, absorbing 21,000
employees.
Last year, the power cord industry in the town achieved an output value of 10.
7 billion yuan, and the market share of products accounted for more than
52% of the national counterparts.

What is worrying is that in recent years, in the process of rapid development of the wire and cable industry in Simen Town, there have been prominent problems such as disorderly competition in the industry and the proliferation of counterfeiting, and the problem of brand enterprises and certification holders being infringed has occurred from time to time.

At the same time, in the view of the relevant person in charge of the Simen Town Industry and Trade Office, the improvement of the traditional industry specification of power lines is also the need
to develop green industry, take the road of industrial land intensification, revitalize idle resources, and promote the agglomeration and development of small and micro enterprises.

At the beginning of last year, after nearly half a year of visits and investigations, Simen Town established a leading group for standardization and improvement and a "promotion office", and issued the "Implementation Opinions of the People's Government of Simen Town on Standardizing and Upgrading the Wire and Cable Industry", and put forward specific measures
to rectify and improve the wire and cable industry.

In the process of rectification, the town did not approve and register 25 enterprises that did not meet the government's unified planning and industry access requirements, and organized market supervision, administrative law enforcement, public security, environmental protection and other departments to carry out joint law enforcement actions three times, filed and dealt with 26 cases of wire and cable violations, closed 7 cases, fined and confiscated 440,000 yuan, ordered rectification of 38 enterprises, and 85 administrative guidance enterprises

Strengthening the construction of the platform and promoting the development of agglomeration is a key step
in this improvement.
Simen Town will gather some enterprises and small and micro enterprises that do not have certification conditions into the standard factory area or order them to switch production and stop business, and operate in a close manner according to the "four unification" principles of unified use of certification certificates, unified use of trademarks, unified factory inspection, and unified invoicing and settlement

At present, 49 small and micro enterprises have gathered in the three small and micro enterprise agglomeration areas of Yunhuan New Factory, Yunhuan Old Factory Area under the Xiaolu Road, and Xuanhua Old Factory Area in Hubei Village

In order to improve the enthusiasm of enterprise rectification and improvement, the town government also issued policy opinions to encourage the industry to improve its development, and for wire and cable enterprises that are subject to standard improvement that obtain domestic and international certification in the year, domestic 3C certification will give a subsidy of 5,000 yuan each, and international certification will give a subsidy
of 10,000 yuan each.

This year, Simen Town will further promote the construction of small and micro enterprise agglomeration areas in the wire and cable industry, establish an information database of idle factory buildings and idle land, guide enterprises that do not have certification conditions to enter the agglomeration plant, increase rent reduction and exemption for enterprises relocated to the agglomeration area, strive to add 50 agglomeration enterprises, accumulate 100 small and micro enterprises, and at the same time improve the infrastructure construction of agglomeration areas to further improve
