    On 22 November 2022, the Singapore Food Authority (SFA) issued an industry guide to provide farmers with the procedural and regulatory requirements
    involved in setting up offshore farms in Singapore.
    Key guidelines include: submitting farming plans; Apply for a license for fish farms (coastal fish farms), all coastal fish farms must obtain a license from the SFA, which can be renewed annually; All individuals employed or engaged in any activity of a fish farm must register with the SFA; Apply for a fishing vessel licence to serve a fish farm; Update any changes in company details (company address, contact number, company name

    in existing regulatory requirements.
