According to recent news from the Russian Satellite News Agency, Sinopec and its subsidiaries have signed three long-term supply agreements with American exporter Venture Global LNG, which will more than double China's annual natural gas imports from the United States

It is understood that Venture Global LNG has signed two 20-year agreements with Sinopec to supply liquefied natural gas from the Plaquemines plant to China, with a total capacity of 4 million tons/year

Venture Global LNG utilizes the resource-rich North American natural gas basins to become a long-term low-cost LNG supplier
