As of August 25, Sinopec has built 205 distributed photovoltaic power generation sites in 25 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country
.

This is an important practice for Sinopec to accelerate its transformation and upgrading and implement green and low-carbon development.

Since the beginning of this year, Sinopec has adopted the model of “spontaneous self-use and surplus electricity to go online” to accelerate the construction of photovoltaic power generation sites.

It has built photovoltaic power generation sites in Jiangsu, Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places

At present, Sinopec has completed the site selection of 1,000 distributed photovoltaic power generation sites, and is focusing on promoting the construction of centralized photovoltaic power generation projects such as Jiujiang Oil Depot in Jiangxi and Lu'an Oil Depot in Anhui

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, there will also be plans to build 7,000 distributed photovoltaic power generation sites with an installed capacity of 400 MW, and the annual power generation capacity will be approximately 480 million kwh upon completion
