On October 4th, Fujian Provincial Party Secretary Yu Weiguo and Governor Wang Ning negotiated with the party secretary and chairman Zhang Yuzhuo of Sinopec Group in Fuzhou.
Zhang Yuzhuo said that Sinopec will give full play to its own advantages, firmly deepen the cooperation between the two parties in petroleum refining and energy security, combine the local strategic layout, improve and optimize the cooperation plan, and invest 100 billion yuan to promote the construction of Gulei Phase II and other projects.
After the meeting, Zhang Yuzhuo went to Fujian enterprises to investigate and listened to work reports from Fujian Refining & Chemical, Gulei Petrochemical, and Fujian Petroleum.
He also went to Quangang in Quanzhou and Gulei in Zhangzhou successively to go deep into the production and construction of Fujian United Petrochemical and Fujian Gulei Petrochemical to understand project construction, production preparations, test drive, and long-term planning.
