According to the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in order to promote the high-quality development of the petrochemical and chemical industry, six departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the National Energy Administration have recently issued " Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Petrochemical and Chemical Industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions"), which proposes that by 2025, about 30 intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories and about 50 intelligent chemical industry demonstration parks will be built

The "Opinions" require that by 2025, the petrochemical and chemical industry will basically form a high-quality development pattern with strong independent innovation ability, reasonable structure and layout, green, safe and low-carbon, the ability to guarantee high-end products will be greatly improved, the core competitiveness will be significantly enhanced, and high-level self-reliance and self-improvement will be formed.

At the same time, the relocation and transformation of hazardous chemical production enterprises in densely populated urban areas has been completed, forming about 70 chemical parks with competitive advantages

Specifically, in terms of promoting the adjustment of industrial structure, the "Opinions" proposes to strengthen classified policies and scientifically regulate the scale of industries
