Six Ministries and Commissions Jointly Issued the Construction Standards and Certification Management Measures for Chemical Industrial Parks

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Natural Resources and other six ministries and commissions jointly issued the "Chemical Park Construction Standards and Certification Management Measures (Trial)"

The "Measures" are divided into five chapters, including general provisions, construction standards, park identification, park management, and supplementary provisions, with a total of 26 articles

The construction standards for chemical parks include 12 requirements for management institutions, site selection and layout, industrial planning, safety and environmental protection, and hazardous waste treatment

There are 3 items for the identification of the park

There are 5 items of park management

The "Measures" stipulate that the establishment of new chemical parks should be approved by the provincial and above people's governments or their authorized institutions, and the undertaking of chemical projects listed in the relevant national or local planning should be approved by the provincial people's government or its authorized institutions.

The "Measures" also stipulate that the self-assessment and review of the identified chemical parks should be regularly organized
