On November 20, 2020, Slovenian Agro-Forest Foods adopted an amendment to the quality standards for vegetable oils, vegetable fats and egg yolks through the government's e-government website. The
amendments include: 1. Allowing the label of oils and vegetable oils contained in the standards to be marked with the words edible; 2. Revising the classification of vegetable oils, adding categories of special vegetable oils (referring to products with flavorings, aromatic substances, functional ingredients) and requiring that the product classification name be indicated in the labels, and 3. Revised labelling requirements for mixed plant ingredients; 4. The book that the source of the oil plant should be stated on the packaging of vegetable oils and fats; and 5. The definition of mayonnaise has been revised to provide that egg yolks can be replaced by other originals in the product, and that the final product does not contain egg yolk ingredients, but must be stated in a striking manner on the product label.
