Recently, Solarcentury has received approval from the Andalusian regional government to build four photovoltaic projects
in Alcala de Guadaira, Seville, Spain.

Once completed, the project will generate enough energy to power
    105,000 homes.

Solarcentury has a Spanish office in Valencia, and the company has a series of projects totaling about 500MW
    in Andalusia.
The four projects are the first to reach the ready-to-build phase, each with an installed generation capacity of 50MW.

Solarcentury expects construction of the project to begin
    in April 2019.

The projects are delivered through a partnership with Texla, a local engineering company based in Seville with more than 20 years of experience
in developing and maintaining renewable energy projects in Spain.

Solarcentury Iberia Managing Director said, "We see these projects as a true win-win
    for the region.
Not only would they provide thousands of homes with clean, renewable energy, but they would also be able to build a net employment and environmentally friendly generator
    without public subsidies.
We believe that the construction of this group of projects will last about 12 months, starting in
    April 2019.

"Once the Seville project is completed, these projects, along with the Tala Yola solar project in Cáceres, will be one of the two largest solar power projects in Spain and one of the
most important in Europe," he added.
They demonstrate that solar energy can and will be delivered on a large scale, enabling Europe to lead
the transition from fossil fuels to zero-carbon energy sources.
