South Korea has assisted Myanmar in building an agricultural market center in Nebidu

Myanmar's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation announced on January 20 that South Korea will build an $8.37 million agricultural market center in Nebidu, the project was held on January 20.
Myanmar's Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, U Meding Tong, said myanmar had launched the project, which was implemented by the Korea International Cooperative in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation of Myanmar, by focusing on finding new agricultural markets and accelerating market circulation.
With the assistance of South Korea, Myanmar will build an agricultural processing center in the town of Heihe, Shan State, which, when completed, will provide farmers with market information, stable markets, advanced harvesting techniques and product standards, and pass food safety inspections, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation. Production of safe agricultural products, agricultural products processing center project will be classified and graded, packaging, standards, brands, refrigeration and other processing, through the improvement of the cold storage infrastructure, marketing departments to provide market information, including product standards and certification of the distribution, by farmers themselves bargaining sales.
