South Korea's state-run power company, Korea East-West Electric Power Company (EWP), has completed a 3.
5 MW floating solar project
at a coal-fired power plant, Yonhap reported.
It is understood that the solar modules are deployed near
the coal ash deposition site of the Dangjin power station.
The solar facility will provide enough electricity
for the equivalent of 1,600 homes.
EWP has 434MW of renewable energy capacity and will use 25% of its renewable energy into
its energy mix by 2030.
