    From SeafoodMedia’s March 1st news, from January 2017 to January 2022, the average quantity of seafood imported by South Korea was 27,820 tons.
    The import volume in January this year was 17% lower than this figure.
    The import volume in January 2018 was the highest in 6 years, at 38,808 tons, the lowest.
    The value occurred in January 2021, with an import volume of 21,843 tons .

     
    In January this year, South Korea imported 23,167 tons of fish and shellfish products from China , an increase of 6% year-on-year, accounting for 24% of the total import volume of 98,158 tons .

    -The import volume of frozen cut swimming crab was 1,451 tons, a year-on-year increase of 58%
