This project is the first demonstration hydrogen energy industrialization project of PetroChina.

Prior to this, Southwest Chemical had built a 2000Nm³/h fuel cell hydrogen device for Yanshan Petrochemical's new hydrogen energy supply project for the Beijing Winter Olympics, and it was successfully started in March 2020

This time, Southwest Chemical and North China Petrochemical signed a hydrogen energy plant of the same scale, optimized various designs, reduced floor space, lowered costs, and made the operation more stable and reliable.

In addition, as a leading enterprise in the field of hydrogen energy supply in China, Southwest Chemical has taken the lead in drafting 5 hydrogen energy-related standards and specifications, has a number of national hydrogen energy preparation patents, and can provide diversified hydrogen production technologies and high-quality solutions
