Spain approves extension of validity period of vineyard planting authorization

The revised regulations extend the validity period of new planting and replanting authorizations that expire in 2020 to December 31, 2021.
At the same time, the deadline for submitting replanting rights conversion applications will be extended to December 31, 2022, and the validity period of the conversion authorization will be extended to December 31, 2025.
The replanting rights will expire in 2020/2021 and later.
The validity period is extended to December 31, 2025.



The implementation of the revised regulations has made some control measures more flexible, and the list of authorized wine grape varieties in Spain has also been updated.
