In order to regulate drug price behavior, maintain the order of drug market prices, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people, the Price Supervision and Inspection Bureau of the Autonomous Region, in accordance with the spirit of the National Development and Reform Commission's Notice on the Special Inspection of Drug Prices in the Country, and in the light of the actual situation in our region, began to carry out special inspection of drug prices in the whole region on June 1.
this inspection target is pharmaceutical production and operation enterprises, medical institutions, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, blood stations and related trade associations. Combined with the new problems and circumstances addications that have arisen since the reform of drug prices, the focus shall be on investigating and punishing the acts of the enterprises that have reached and implemented monopoly agreements for raw materials and pharmaceutical production and operation enterprises; the acts of the enterprises that organize production and operation enterprises to reach and implement monopoly agreements; the acts of the enterprises that abuse their dominant position in the market to sell raw materials and drugs at unfairly high prices; the fraudulent acts of price fraud such as fictitious original prices and misleading price marking by social retail enterprises, and the non-implementation of government-priced drug zero-rate and mark-up policies by medical institutions.
