Recently, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission announced the list of 2014 Beijing Key Laboratory and Beijing Engineering Technology Research Center, and the Beijing Key Laboratory of DC Power Grid Technology and Simulation declared by the State Grid Smart Grid Research Institute was on
the list.
It is reported that the laboratory is the first laboratory in China to carry out flexible DC and DC power grid technology research and simulation testing, mainly engaged in DC power grid system analysis, DC grid commutation technology, DC grid simulation technology, DC power grid test technology four directions of research, focusing on solving the key basic problems faced by DC power grid operation, providing the necessary technical means
required for the development of DC power grid.
The State Grid Intelligent Research Institute was recognized by the Beijing Key Laboratory of DC Power Grid Technology and Simulation, marking that the laboratory represents the highest comprehensive R&D strength and level in the field of DC power grid technology and simulation in Beijing, and also lays the foundation
for the next application of the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Transmission Technology.
