The promotion and application of new technologies is a key link in the scientific and technological innovation work of the State Grid Corporation, and it is an important embodiment

The 2014 version of the new technology catalog is based on the 2009 version, according to the latest achievements in the development of energy and power science and technology, around the development needs of the company and the power grid, the original catalog field framework and technical content have been optimized and supplemented, including a total of 15 types of technical fields and 236 new technologies

The catalogue clarifies the technical principles or technical routes, roles and benefits, application status or R&D trends, application conditions and application objectives, principles and precautions
of each new technology.

The Catalogue of New Technologies Promoted by the State Grid Corporation of China (2014 Edition) clarifies the new technologies that have been promoted and applied in the past two years, as well as their application scale, implementation progress and responsible entities

On the basis of the 2011 edition of the key promotion catalogue, the catalogue is completed by comprehensively summarizing and refining the 2014 edition of the new technology catalogue in accordance with the principle of "advanced and mature, universally applicable and influential".

In terms of domain framework, there are 13 technical areas, 47 new technologies for promotion and application and 20 new technologies
for demonstration applications.
Among them, the promotion and application of new technologies into the company's normal power grid construction and production process, and the binding promotion within the power grid; New technologies for demonstration application will be arranged for specific projects to carry out pilot demonstration applications, and the application effect will be fully demonstrated before gradually popularizing the application
