SEOUL, Feb. 12 (Yonhap) -- Imports of nutritional health care products (also known as functional foods) have grown at an average annual rate of 21.4% in the past three years, accounting for 33.8% of the industry as a whole, according to a recent data released by South Korea's Food and Drug Safety Service.
by product item, imports of integrated nutrients ranked first for the third consecutive year, with imports of 3509 tons last year, accounting for 17.7% of total imports of health care products.
