    A team of researchers from Yunnan University's Key Laboratory for Paleontical Research in Yunnan Province, Cambridge University in the United Kingdom and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, using X-ray 3D imaging with micron accuracy, observed 20 well-preserved pairs of appendages and Body shape details, including: a pair of specially crocheted second tentacles, specially designed for feeding for large and small jaws of the third and fourth pairs of appendicides, with leaf-shaped upper limbs of the double-branched chest appendix, and structure.
    "Under the micro-CT, the second tentacles, large jaws and small jaws of the multi-eared village worm, and the 'upper limb' structure of the appendected hip section are all important identification features of pan-crustaceans, " said Yu Dawei, "these characteristics are sufficient to identify the multi-eared village worm as the distant ancestor of pan-beetles."
