Neurons and glial cells are the basic cells of the neocortex of mammalian brains.

In this article, through the systematic Mosaic analysis with double markers (MADM) of mouse neocortex RGPs, the cellular program of RGPs for glialogenesis was determined at the single-cell level.

In order to further study the molecular regulation mechanism of glial cell formation, this paper uses the characteristics of the MADM system to study the regulation of the tumor suppressor protein Neurofibromin 1 (NF1) at the single-cell level on RGP behavior, neurogenesis and glial cell formation.
