Plant cell is very high omnipotent is the basis of regenerative plant repeatable, plant hormone-induced outlying regeneration system based on plant cell omnipotent ness has been widely used in agricultural production and genetic modification.
for a long time, growth hormone-induced pluripotent lysergic tissue formation is considered to be the process of plant cells acquiring omnipotence, and is also the starting step of the classical plant isoplastic regeneration system.
However, how growth hormone initiates the molecular regulation mechanism of the formation of injured tissue is not clear.
recently, Hu Yuxin Research Group of the Institute of Plant Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences took the amoeba as a material, and on the basis of the discovery in the early stage that the LBD transcription factor induced by growth hormone can directly regulate the occurrence of injury, further found that bZIP-type transcription factor serotrial factor seiswells with LBD in the form of heterogeneous dipolymer, regulating the growth hormone-induced injury process.
studies show that bZIP59 and LBD are highly overlapping expression during the healing process, growth hormone can maintain the stability of bZIP59 protein and enhance its ability to form complexwith with LBD;
the study reveals that the bZIP-LBD complex is a key factor in controlling reprogramming of the cells in the form of injury, and establishes the molecular link between growth hormone signals and cell omnipotence in plant regeneration systems.
the results of this study are not only important for understanding plant cell omnipotent regulation and its application in promoting plant biotechnology, but also to further compare the molecular evolution mechanism of plant cell omnipotent and animal cell plural regulation.
related research published in Nature-Plant, associate researcher Xu Huiyi as the first author, researcher Hu Yuxin as the communication author, the same period in the "news and views" column commented on the results.
the research has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Major Scientific Research Program, the Chinese Academy of Sciences strategic leading science and technology special projects, etc.
