    Suzukawa Energy Center was established on September 4, 2013 as a joint venture between Nippon Paper, Mitsubishi Corporation Power, and Chubu Electric Power Company.

    The principal amount is approximately JPY 2.
    6 billion, with a 70% stake in Mitsubishi Corporation Power, 20% in Nippon Paper, and 10%
    in Chubu Electric Power.
    Nippon Paper was entrusted with the operation and maintenance
    of power generation equipment.
    All of the electricity generated was sold to Diamond Power, a retail operator
    .

    This time, the thermal power plant built by the agency began operation

    The power station uses the production equipment base of Nippon Paper Company's Old Suzukawa Factory to output about 100,000 kilowatts
    of electricity.

    Nippon Paper makes full use of the company's factory equipment and land throughout the country, and also conducts business
    by utilizing the skills and contacts accumulated over the years.
    In order to ensure a stable supply of electricity to society, this thermal power station was built to contribute
    to the stable supply of electricity through equipment operation.
    Komatsushima and Yatsushiro power stations are also under construction
