Tanderser: 172 countries and territories have joined the new crown vaccine program

Since a small number of countries are likely to receive most of the vaccine supply, this could also lead to a prolonged outbreak of the new crown.
He said the COVAX program includes mechanisms for jointly procuring and sharing the risks of multiple new coronary vaccines, which will be available to participating countries, whether low- and middle-income or high-income, regardless of which vaccine proves safe and effective in the future.
Tandese stressed that in the case of limited initial availability of vaccines, priority should be given to ensuring that vaccines are made available to high-risk groups, including health workers, people over 65 years of age, and those at higher risk of new coronary deaths due to pre-existing conditions.
