    Recently, Tata Power, an integrated power company in India, announced that it will sign a partnership with Coastal Gujarat Power Ltd (CGPL) to provide universal rooftop solar installations
    to entire villages in the Indian state of Gujarat.

    The project will cover 100% of households in the area, providing a single home roof with photovoltaic facilities
    that can be connected to the grid without batteries.

    The Gujarat Energy Development Authority (GEDA) has been selected to install the rooftop project
    .
    So far, 17 residences have been equipped with photovoltaic systems and connected to the grid
    .

    "Tata Power is committed to a greener and cleaner future, with a focus on renewable energy
    ," said Tata Power's Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director.
    We continue to seek potential regions across India to grow the industry
    .
    To achieve this vision, we aim to trigger capacity growth through organic and inorganic means, obtaining 30-40% of Tata Power's power generation capacity
    from clean energy.
    The initiative of Tunda, Gujarat, is an affirmative initiative
    to provide clean energy to our community.
