According to the Food Law of the Thai calendar 2522, “produce and sell counterfeit and inferior food, and label the quality, quantity, or other characteristics of the food to deceive consumers”, depending on the seriousness of the circumstances, a prison sentence of 6 months to 10 years and a fine of 5000- 100,000 baht (approximately RMB 1,000 to 20,000), in addition to "incorrect food labeling", a fine of less than 30,000 baht (approximately RMB 6,000) will be imposed
