    National Daily News on August 16, Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Zhu Lin said that he has requested the Thai Agriculture and Commerce Commissioner in China to continue consultations with the Chinese authorities on the import ban on Thai longan .
    The bilateral talks are expected to continue until next weekend

    At the same time, Zhu Lin also instructed the Department of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agricultural Cooperatives to strictly supervise the quality of the fruit to ensure that it meets the requirements of Chinese standards
