    Food Partners.com Thailand's Livestock Development Division, December 11 news: Director Sorowit said that the use of harmful substances in Thailand's livestock industry has been greatly reduced: in 2014, the use of lekdopamine (clenum) in pig urine was found to be 3.5%, compared with 0.1% in 2020.
    The Department of Livestock Development continues to prohibit the use of lekdamine (CLEN), which recently established a policy prohibiting the use of lekdamine (CLEN) in animal farms and slaughterhouses in order to raise standards for the supply and sale of safe meat (food safety) to consumers, with particular emphasis on the prohibition of the use of lekdamine (CLEN) in pig and cattle farming.
    Thailand is expected to declare it a "lekdopamine-free country" in 2021.
    In accordance with the Animal Slaughter Control Act B.E. 2559 and the Animal Feed Quality Control Act B.E. 2558, as well as other relevant laws, the policy prohibiting the use of lekdamine (Clenerin) in animal farms and slaughterhouses throughout Thailand is implemented.
