Alamand, said that the total export volume of mangoes from Thailand ranks second in ASEAN and seventh in the world, with a total export value of more than 95 million US dollars .
In 2021, Thailand's mango exports will be worth US$95 million, a 52% increase over 2020 .
The main markets for mango exports are China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, India, Chile, Peru, which have signed a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Thailand .
In the first two months of this year, Thailand's mango exports reached US$11 million, accounting for 98% of the total, an increase of 13% over the same period in 2021 .
Among them, the main export markets are Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Myanmar and Vietnam .
Currently, among the member states of the free trade agreement, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, India, Chile and Peru, no longer impose import duties on Thai mangoes
