The 16 new confirmed cases on December 2 were all imported from abroad

From 0-24 hours on December 2nd, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 16 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (8 in Shanghai, 4 in Guangdong, 2 in Shandong, 1 in Hubei and 1 in Shaanxi);
18 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 351 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 2 fewer serious cases were reported than the previous day.
235 confirmed cases (of which 3 are serious cases) and 6 suspected cases have been imported from outside China. A total of 3889 confirmed cases, a total of 3654 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on December 2, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 266 confirmed cases (of which 6 were serious cases), 81,667 cases had been cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths had been reported, 86,567 confirmed cases had been reported and 8 suspected cases had been reported. A total of 881,740 close contacts were traced, and 7007 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 6 new cases of asymptomatic infection (5 cases imported from abroad);
received a total of 7230 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
6499 cases (5394 cases of discharge, 110 deaths), 46 cases of discharge (46 cases of discharge) and 685 cases (570 cases of discharge and 7 deaths) were discharged from the
Special Administrative Region.
