    The 4th Cross-Strait Academic Conference on Nutrition Improvement was held in Taipei from August 21-23, 2014 and was attended by more than 300 participants in various fields including nutrition, food science, public health and food industry. The meeting was held in Taiwan for the first time since the first three sessions were held in Macau (2008), Chengdu (2010) and Hong Kong (2012). The theme of the conference is "Improving Nutrition for Health in All Directions", and the agenda covers all aspects of the system, management, research, etc., and explores the cultivation of nutrition professionals.conference opened 9 special venues, 3 luncheons, nearly 50 exchange reports, 94 board exchanges, set up exhibition display 8. The meeting covered nutrition challenges and improvement strategies, dietary nutrient reference intake, chronic disease nutrition prevention and treatment, nutritional status assessment, hospital nutrition department management, clinical nutrition, school nutrition teaching materials design and teaching, diet preparation and meal supply.
