The 500,000-ton/year coal-based ethanol project was fully launched

Shaanxi Extended Petroleum Group was informed that on February 21st, the signing ceremony and opening of a trade union for the basic engineering design of the 500,000-ton/year coal-based ethanol project of the extended petroleum company was held in Beijing, marking the full start of the basic design work of the project.
500,000 tons/year coal-based ethanol project is an early start-up project to extend the 8 million tons/year coal extraction tar and synthesizer integration (CCSI) industry demonstration.With a total investment of about 6.4 billion yuan, the
project uses coal-based ethanol technology jointly developed by the Extended Petroleum Group and the Dalian Chemical Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to design and convert 1.5 million tons/year of coal, produce 500,000 tons/year of ethanol products and 50,000 tons/year of methanol products, and produce by-products such as erythol oil, recombinant components, sulfur, etc.
