Submarine cable system supplier Seaborn Networks and Grupo Werthein de Argentina recently revealed that the ARBR submarine cable system planned between Argentina and Brazil will land in
Las Toninas, Argentina.

In addition, Telecom Argentina will supply dark fiber for ARBR on the return route between Las Toninas and Buenos Aires and PoP
in Buenos Aires.

According to reports, the 2,700-kilometer ARBR submarine cable will contain four pairs of optical fibers, with an initial maximum design capacity of 44Tbps

ARBR's Brazil landing station will be connected to Seaborn's existing Seabras-1 cable landing station in Praia Grande (Brazil), allowing direct connectivity to New York (USA)
via a fully operational Seabras-1 submarine cable system.

According to the plan, the ARBR submarine cable system will start construction this year and will be completed
in 2019.
