The chemical industry agrees on a global standard for calculating the carbon footprint of products

As part of the joint "Sustainability" (TfS) initiative, 37 chemical companies, including BASF, have agreed
on global guidelines for calculating the carbon footprint (PCF) of their products.

The new carbon footprint guidelines for TfS products provide specific calculation instructions
for "cradle-to-door" emissions of chemicals.

To promote standardization, BASF has been openly sharing its carbon footprint calculation methods
with suppliers, customers and peers.

TfS calculation.
