Recently, the National Energy Administration issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Construction of New Energy Microgrid Demonstration Projects (hereinafter referred to as the Opinions).
The "Opinions" proposed that the construction of new energy microgrid demonstration projects will be promoted, and all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) need to report new energy microgrid demonstration projects
.
It is reported that microgrids are in their infancy internationally, and China's current power system is still not fully adapted to the innovative needs
of microgrid development.
The next step is to further open the market through power reform and encourage more enterprises to participate in the construction of
microgrids.
According to the Opinions, the new energy microgrid is based on the construction of local distribution network, wind, solar, natural gas and other distributed energy resources multi-energy complementarity, with a high proportion of new energy power access, can achieve a basic balance between local energy production and energy load through energy storage and optimal configuration, and can flexibly interact with the public power grid and operate relatively independently as needed

Compared with the traditional power grid, the microgrid does not support centralized large-scale thermal power and hydropower, and its power supply is decentralized, mainly distributed energy such as wind power, photovoltaic, biomass energy, etc.
