    According to the Phnom Penh Post, on March 22, Cambodia's largest cold storage project started construction at the LM17 container terminal in Kandal Province, Phnom Penh Autonomous Port
    .
     
    It is understood that Cambodia needs at least 140,000 cubic meters of cold storage facilities by 2030
    .
    The total storage capacity of the cold storage started this time is about 36,000 cubic meters, which will meet nearly 25% of the demand for cold storage in Cambodia at one time

    The project was developed by the Port of Phnom Penh (PPAP) in cooperation with Khmer Cold Chain Co Ltd, and developed by the InfraCo Asisa Southeast Asia team, with support from national partners such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Australia

    After the project is completed, it will improve the operational efficiency of goods import and distribution, and provide services for agricultural companies, food processing companies, pharmaceutical companies, food retail, hotels and catering companies
