    In view of the major demand for China's synthetic rubber dependence on imports and petrochemical downstream C4~C5 olefin conversion, the project cooperated with Baling Petrochemical Company, Linglong Tire, Sen Kirin Tire, Haohua Tire and other enterprises to develop the creation, synthesis and application technology
    of new materials for iron branched butadiene rubber.

    According to reports, the project designs and synthesizes new iron-based metal complex catalysts, creates new materials for iron-branched butadiene rubber, develops efficient and highly selective catalyst technology and catalytic polymerization technology, and precise construction and regulation technology of the microstructure of branched butadiene rubber
    .
    The research team also broke through several technical problems of engineering amplification, realized the 100-ton batch polymerization and continuous polymerization pilot scale-up test of iron branched butadiene rubber, and the 10,000-ton industrialization demonstration project is also underway
    .
    By studying the structure-activity relationship between the microstructure and macroscopic properties of branched butadiene rubber, they constructed the balance relationship between wet slip resistance, rolling resistance and wear resistance, broke through its key technology in the application of high-performance tire tread rubber, and obtained new high-performance anti-wet tread rubber materials, which are expected to form transformative technical products and solve the key technical problems
    of dissolved polystyrene-butadiene rubber.
    In addition, the anti-wet slip of iron-branched butadiene rubber tires manufactured by the research team has reached the EU standard A grade, shortening the braking distance of automobiles, and 1 million high-performance tire manufacturing demonstration lines
    are currently under construction.
