Recently, the China Machinery Industry Federation held a national new product technology appraisal meeting in Xi'an, which identified the "KGWF-6250/±800 UHVDC converter valve"
developed by China XD.
The appraisal committee is composed of 19 industry experts including Academician Wang Xifan of the Chinese Academy of
Sciences.
The appraisal committee listened to the report on the design, development and test of the 6250A converter valve, reviewed the relevant technical documents, conducted on-site tests, inspected the production process and test conditions, and believed that the product has independent intellectual property rights, the overall technical indicators are internationally leading, and can be used for actual engineering

Relying on this project, China XD has successfully developed key devices such as thyristors and saturated reactors for 6250A converter valves and simulated loads for insulation tests, and completed the comprehensive upgrading of the converter valve design platform, test platform and production line, and established a converter valve design calculation and simulation platform and model library
