Food Partners Network News,Thailand’s Department of Livestock Development, October 27: The Department recommends that consumers choose meat with the " Livestock OK" logo .
At the same time, the department warned meat suppliers, including meat stall owners and restaurants that supply or cook meat, to sell and use unqualified meat, such as abscesses, pus, needles, abnormal colors or smells in the meat.
Food that is sold as impure and violates the Food Law of the Thai Buddhist Calendar 2522, and is punishable by imprisonment for up to two years or a fine of less than 20,000 baht (approximately RMB 4,000) .
