From October 20th to 22nd, at the beginning of a new round of sea cucumber aquaculture production in the south, researcher Wang Yingeng, chief expert of the echinoderm disease prevention and control and genetic breeding innovation team of the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, led a team to Xiapu County, Fujian Province to carry out research activities, and cooperate and exchange with the Xiapu County Government, Xiapu Sea Cucumber Association and aquaculture industry to carry out industrial technology training

During the event, researcher Liao Meijie introduced to the leaders of Xiapu fishery authorities the research progress of the project "The occurrence law of important diseases of hanging cage culture ginseng in Fujian Province and its comprehensive prevention and control technology" project in the past year, and the two sides jointly discussed a number of technological innovation schemes such as upgrading and transformation of aquaculture cages and research and development of functional flake feed, and formulated the next work plan
of the project.
Researcher Wang Yingeng made a training report on "Key Technologies for Disease Prevention and Control and Efficient Output of Sea Cucumber Hanging Cage Culture" to members of Xiapu Sea Cucumber Association and grassroots aquaculture practitioners, and conducted in-depth communication and exchanges
on difficult breeding problems and industrial upgrading plans.
