    The European Commission has passed a set of new, safer vehicle regulations aimed at reducing pollution and enhancing Europe's position
    as a global battery manufacturer.

    The regulation, known as the "Mobility Package", will set new CO2 standards for heavy-duty vehicles and will outline strategies
    for development and manufacturing across Europe.

    "Mobility is crossing a new technological frontier," commented Maroš, Vice President of the European Commission, "and with this final set of recommendations from the Energy Alliance, we are helping our industry stay ahead of the curve
