On December 24, the expert group of the Northern Aviation Ranger Station was officially established and held its first plenary meeting

This move marks that the Northern Aviation Forest Ranger Station has built an industry management decision-making mechanism combining "industry authorities + industry experts", and promoted the development
of aviation forest protection work towards science, standardization and standardization.
The first batch of expert groups consists of 12 members, composed of experts, scholars and personnel with rich practical experience in the field of
aviation forest protection in relevant regions, departments, colleges and universities, scientific research and so on.
Each term of office is three years, which may be supplemented
at any time as needed for work.
Shu Lifu, a researcher at the Forest Fire Protection Research Office of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, was elected as the leader of the expert group, and Jin Sen, a professor at Northeast Forestry University, was elected as the secretary general of
the expert group.
The main responsibilities of the expert group are to provide decision-making suggestions, professional consultation, theoretical guidance and technical support for the development of aviation forest protection in the north, including carrying out investigation and research on relevant topics in the field of aviation forest protection, being entrusted to participate in the emergency handling of aviation forest protection and providing guidance, being entrusted to demonstrate aviation forest protection related projects, carrying out aviation forest protection education and training and related academic exchanges and cooperation, closely tracking the development trend of aviation forest protection science and technology at home and abroad, timely reflecting the problems existing in the northern aviation forest protection work and putting forward suggestions for improvement.
