Longkou Nanshan LNG project is located in Yantai City, Shandong Province Longkou port, total construction scale of annual reception capacity of 2000 tons, a total investment of 350 million yuan, the annual gas supply capacity of 280 million cubic meters, plans to build LNG terminals, 20 Zuo 22 Articles LNG Storage tanks and supporting facilities.

As an important component of the Bohai Rim natural gas production, supply, storage and marketing system, the project will provide sustainable, stable and clean natural gas for Shandong, the Bohai Rim and even North China, and enhance the ability of natural gas peak shaving, emergency reserves and winter livelihood protection.

According to the calculation of the total project scale of 20 million tons / year LNG receiving capacity, it is expected to help Shandong Province reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 32 million tons per year; compared with coal-fired power generation, it can reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by about 3 million tons, which will further improve regional air quality , Play an important role in controlling environmental risks and assisting in the fight against air pollution.

This project is the first in China to adopt the planning and construction plan in the tank cluster.
