    The first drinking water and health summit forum hosted by the Drinking Water and Health Branch of the Chinese Nutrition Society was successfully held in Hangzhou on June 5, 2021

    More than 60 experts and scholars from universities, hospitals and scientific research institutes attended the meeting


    Professor Ma Guansheng, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Nutrition Society and Chairman of the Drinking Water and Health Branch, Professor Ma Aiguo, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Nutrition Society, Professor Guo Changjiang from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, and former Director of the Rural Water Improvement Technology Guidance Center of the China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Researcher Tao Yong and the State Researcher Wang Jun from the Food Safety Risk Assessment Center presided over the meeting

    Professor Ma Guansheng, chairman of the Drinking Water and Health Branch, first made a report on "The Research Status and Prospects of Drinking Water and Health in China"
    .


    Professor Ma summarized the research work and results related to drinking water and health carried out by his team over the past ten years.


    "The Status and Health of Drinking Water in Rural China" by Tao Yong, a researcher from the Rural Water Improvement Technical Guidance Center of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, describes in detail the development process of rural water improvement in China, analyzes the influencing factors of rural water supply problems and the impact on health, and aims at Rural students generally drink less water.
    It is recommended to conduct research on drinking water and urination in rural students
    .


    From the perspective of drinking water safety, researcher Zhang Lan from the Institute of Environment and Health of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, combined with policies, plans and actions, brought a report entitled "Drinking Water Safety in the "Post-epidemic Era"," and gave a report on drinking water safety in the future.
