the few provinces in the country that does not operate high-speed rail.
Zhanghuke started construction in July 2014, with a design period of 4 years, after completion, it will be connected with the Beijing-Zhangjiang high-speed railway under construction, forming a rapid passenger transport channel from the central and western regions of Inner Mongolia to Beijing, further releasing the existing Zhangji railway freight channel capacity, which plays a very important role
in integrating Inner Mongolia into the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic circle, promoting the regional economic development of the autonomous region, and improving the travel conditions of the people.
