The media reporter learned from the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission on the 7th that the loan for the Putian Pinghai offshore wind power project was recently approved by the seventh board meeting of the BRICS New Development Bank
.
The loan amount of the project is 2 billion yuan, and the loan term is 15 years, which is used for the construction
of the second phase of the Pinghai Bay offshore wind power project.
This is the first BRICS New Development Bank sovereign loan project
in Fujian Province.
The second phase of the Pinghai Offshore Wind Power Project is invested and constructed by Fujian Investment and Development Group, with a total investment of 4.
971 billion yuan, a total installed capacity of 250 MW, and an annual on-grid electricity of 872 million kWh
after completion.
The project will play a good demonstration role
in achieving energy conservation and emission reduction and optimizing the energy structure of Fujian Province.
In April this year, the second phase of the Pingwan offshore wind power project was approved by the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission, with a total installed capacity of 250 MW
.
So far, the offshore wind power development capacity of Putian City has reached 700 MW, becoming the largest offshore wind power area
in Fujian Province.
The second phase of the Zhongmin Ping Bay offshore wind power project plans to install 50 single-unit capacity 5 MW wind turbines, supporting the construction of 35 kV and 220 kV submarine transmission cables, Guolu Island 220 kV booster station and traffic construction wharf, and expand the 110 kV Ping offshore and land boost substation under construction in the first phase to a 220 kV land boost substation
.
After the project is put into operation, it is expected that the annual on-grid electricity will be 873 million kWh, which can replace 277,500 tons
of standard coal.
