    According to the National Natural Science Foundation
    (NSFC) and 11 research centres (research institutes) affiliated with the Consultative Organization for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), namely the International Centre for Biological Diversity (Bioversity), the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), the International Forestry Research Centre (CIFOR), the International Centre for Corn and Wheat Improvement (CIMMYT), the International Potato Centre (CIP), the International Drought A consensus on cooperation between the Regional Agricultural Research Centre (ICARDA), the World Centre for Agricultural Forestry (ICRAF), the International Institute of Semi-Arid Tropical Crops (ICRISAT), the International Food Policy Institute (IFPRI), the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) will jointly solicit and fund cooperative research by scientists from both sides by 2020. After public collection, our committee received a total of 55 applications for projects. After preliminary examination, 54 applications were determined to have passed the preliminary examination.
