On June 15, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard "Distributed Power and Grid Interconnection" led by the China Electric Power Research Institute was officially released
.
It is reported that the IEC standard was initiated by the State Grid Corporation of China, and experts from China and Germany, Italy, France, Denmark, Canada, Australia, Japan and other countries participated in the preparation
of the standard.
As a technical specification for distributed power supply connected to the distribution network, this standard strives to reflect the development achievements of distributed power grid connection technology in various countries, and meets the planning, design, grid connection and operation needs
of diversified distributed power generation and grid interconnection.
Distributed power supply has developed rapidly in the world, with the characteristics of
rapid technological development, multiple types, diverse access conditions, and large differences in technical standard requirements between countries.
Under the guidance of the State Grid International Department, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Global Energy Internet Office and other departments, the China Electric Power Research Institute has established a standards working group composed of domestic experts in this field to jointly tackle difficult problems
in the preparation of standards.
The release of this standard fills the gap of IEC distributed power grid-connected standards, enhances the company's influence in the field of IEC technical standards, and will guide the application of distributed power and grid friendly interaction technology worldwide, and help China's "Internet + smart energy" action plan
